Joke's on us!

Before I tell this pretty pathetic story, I want you all to agree with me that most things are a million times more funny when you're tired. Agreed??? Okay, so this weekend kinda bummed us out with the rain. We had plans to go camping or to bear lake or SOMETHING fun to do over the long weekend, but the rain just wouldn't let us. So Saturday night comes around and we still couldn't decide what to do, but we both wanted to go somewhere. ANYWHERE!!! We were both sooo tired and on the verge of being REALLY happy or REALLY grumpy; it could have gone either way pretty fast. We started thinking how funny it would be to go and pitch our tent in someones front yard (for some reason the FRONT yard was more funny than the backyard) and camp out there for the night. We decided to go to Mel and Jasons house and set up our tent. We thought it'd be super funny when they looked out their window in the morning and saw a tent. Funny why?? I don't know. Remember, we were REALLY tired :)
So we went and set up our tent, trying not to laugh too hard for them to hear us. Get in, get comfy...we then realized it was going to be the longest night of our life!
1st, they live on a road with a lot of traffic
2nd, apparently ducks don't sleep. They sounded like they were possessed. It was pretty creepy to tell you the truth.
3rd, the sprinklers came on.
4th, They came on one at a time for twenty minutes each.
5th, after the first twenty minutes we thought it was over. It wasn't.
6th, water started dripping on our faces and soaked our pillows.
7th, (this one was actually pretty funny) Rob went out to fix the tent (in his garments) and got drenched by the sprinkler
And finally, 8th, Mel and Jason saw us setting up our tent and they turned on the sprinklers to begin with!!!!
